Each year we work to create an exciting and fulfilling weekend event !Thank you for your interest in presenting a workshop at the 2020 Women of Wisdom Conference !   We are currently working on our theme for this year’s Conference, and will post it when we have it completed. Applications are due September 6th / Notifications will be sent out by Mid-October.

Women of Wisdom is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering women, giving voice to the feminine wisdom within all, and transforms our personal and collective consciousness. Women from all over come to the conference to experience the gifts of presenters they might not otherwise be able to access. You will have an opportunity to share your wisdom with women who are eager to move forward in their personal transformation. You will also be embraced by the energy of global sisterhood and community. We may expand or extend some conference workshops beyond the Conference – as Community Circles, ongoing Workshops, and/or special events.

We are looking for diverse, experiential workshops that offer women the ability to tell their stories, learn new aspects of themselves and their spirit, empower them to make changes in their lives, create community, and step into leadership.  Workshops are intended to create space for a deep and sustaining experience of growth.

All proposals that are  “woman-oriented” are welcome.You may submit up to three (3) proposals on diverse topics if you wish. This may help us select the best for our audience. Your application will be considered for selection among local Pacific Northwest women leaders. Please be as detailed as possible when filling out the application, particularly in the description and outline of your workshop.All workshops will be 3.0 Hours in length.

Common Workshops Themes, have been: Creative Arts, Dance, Movement, Music, Leadership, Healing Arts, Diversity, Goddess, Earth, Feminine Spirituality, Mystical Spirituality, Self-Transformation, Change, Growth, Stewardship, Sustainability, Building Circles in Community, and Social Activism. We are looking for holistic approaches using emotional, mental, physical and spiritual components.

Benefits: Tangible benefits are available for Presenters who are selected to offer workshops at the Conference, with a value over $300.00. More information will be sent to you about these specifics when you are selected to be a part of our 28th year:

    • An Honorarium (Notification upon being selected as a Presenter for 2020)
    • Featured in the 2020 Conference Website
    • Free E-Newsletter Ad (with photo option) for 3 months – valued at $75
    • Opportunity to post blogs on the WOW Website
    • Feature on WOW Facebook Page, and affiliated pages
    • Free Conference Pass to Conference Events (cost of meals will apply)
    • The possibility of an interview on  ‘Voices of Women’ Radio Show, with founder, Kris Steinnes​​​​​ (there are a limited number of spots)

Please Note: 

  • We are not able to cover costs of travel expenses nor lodging for Presenters to attend the Conference.
  • Your application will be considered for selection among local Pacific Northwest women leaders.

Application Fee:  We are a member organization. There is no Application Fee for WOW Members (current through February 2020).you can become a member for $35 Annual fee. Sign up on the Women of Wisdom Website, or Mail it to: WOW, PO Box 30043, Seattle, WA 98113.  Thank you! 
A $40 Non-Refundable Application Fee applies for those who are not a  WOW Member. 

References: For new Presenters, and those who last presented over three (3) years ago, we require three (3) References.

Nicole Sangsuree Barrett
June 29, 1980 ~ July 17, 2014

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Nicole Sangsuree Barrett. She was hit by a car when she attempted to cross the Chiang Mai superhighway in Thailand on foot. It was determined that Nicole died instantly from the collision. She had friends with her who witnessed the accident and were grieving heavily by the time the emergency services arrived. After rescue teams helped calm Nicole’s friends, the women asked everyone to sing the Thai song “Deuan Pen” as it was her favorite song. Nicole will be missed at Women of Wisdom. She was a dynamic performer and an amazing activist and woman. Here is a video she finished just before her death. She performed this on our stage for the 2014 Women of Wisdom conference to the delight of many. It is an amazing tribute of her talent, beauty, and passion. We will miss you Nicole but know that your light continues to shine and your journey continues.
