JOIN OUR SEATTLE SWIM!

Join us for our annual Seattle swim on beautiful Lake Washington on September 12, 2015! Don’t miss out on this fun and impactful event!

Swimmers can choose from a 1/2 mile, 1 mile, or 2 mile swims, along with a kid’s splash for children and their families. You also have the option of captaining a team, or volunteering at the swim.

Since its founding in 1987, Swim Across America (SAA) has continued to lead the way in the fight against cancer, which affects countless people worldwide every year. Since its inception in 2009, SAA Seattle has been running a successful event on Lake Wahington. The fundraising minimum for this event is $300, but of course we encourage you to set your own higher goals if you like! All proceeds from your local fundraising go directly towards the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, UW Medicine, and Seattle Children’s Hospital. Because of past years’ successes, there is now even a lab named after Swim Across America at the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance!

You don’t have to be a swimmer to volunteer at the Seattle, Lake Washington Swim or at the Moses Lake Swim. Volunteers are the backbone of Swim Across America Events and we need kayakers, boaters and lifeguards. Please register below to be a volunteer at the either of the swims, or contact either SAA, Seattle Event Director atdavid@swimacrossamerica.org
