The film is about one of the biggest water restoration projects in North America, and the themes of the film are at the intersection of, and dilemmas arising from the following topics: natural resources management, specifically issues around water, development discourse, environment and sustainability, human rights, relationships between indigenous and non-indigenous communities, inter-generational conflict, and community activism.
