Ground rules for respecting each other, and a short, guided meditation set a positive, caring tone for the meeting. Breakout groups talked about what is sustaining and engaging us, from nature walks to keeping in touch with friends and relations, and feeling gratitude for life and the environment. One attendee told about a group that made and sold fish tacos and donated the proceeds to a homeless shelter. We reflected on how the pandemic has revised our behavior, ways to take action on behalf of those suffering loss or unemployment, and how to help our adult children and grandchildren</div> <div>while sheltering in place.</div> <div></div> <div>We hope you’ll join us for informal small group conversations where we can share ideas and stories of ways to keep up our work as elder climate activists.
