The time is upon us and on Monday morning we will be performing this artistic ritual with 150 dancers from all over the globe as an example of what can be if we all work together for one peaceful collaborative world. Our human mandala of peace will send up a cry to the heavens, to the universe. and to the world that there is a better way and we are taking proactive steps to create a world of peaceful coexistence for all. In cooperation with the WE-Energime-Global Cooperation Turtle Island International Civil Society Organization and in support of peaceful interfaith dialogue, especially in light of Laudato Si, the recent message from Pope Francis on “Care for Mother Earth”, Drawdown Markham will be assisting Global Cooperation Day (GCD, New Zealand) to Celebrate the 800 year Anniversary (in 2019) of the meeting between Saint Francis of Assisi and Sultan Al Kamil in the year 1219 by planting a *Commemorative Tree of Peace* on a property in the East end of Markham (Locust Hill) on Sunday, September 15th.

This event is being done in support of the DD Markham CCAH Collaborative Exchange Project (CEP) and the “Spark for Humanity” project by We Are Mother Earth! (WAME) and GTI Enterprises (cooperative corporation), and for the eventual establishment of our “Go Local” Campaign for community resilience and adaptation, supported by our local Drawdown Markham Interfaith Neighborhood and Business Collaborative (which is part of the EncounterCanada collaborative, which is intended “to localize the Sustainable Development Goals to build ‘Climate Smart’ safe and sustainable communities and cities, pursuant to the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction”).

Swami will give a comedy performance followed by a dialogue between Mitchell & Steve about how to creatively create a better world. Your presence is desired.

“As within so without” or “as above so below” are an aphorisms associated with sacred geometry, Hermeticism, Baphomet, and the Tarot. The phrases derive from a passage in the Emerald Tablet. The Bible and other writings traditionally render this as “on earth, as it is in heaven.” It means that your outer world is a reflection of your inner world.

Whatever is presented to you in your life can inform how you think and feel on the inside. Likewise, what you think and feel is reflected back to you in your real- ity. In this sense, you manifest your life based on how you think and feel.

This year’s Circles of Men Retreat is will explore the theme “As Within, So Without.”

Join this circle of men as we discover and expand male spirituality, increasing awareness of our inner worlds and outer worlds. In addition, we have the opportunity to construct the bridge between the two worlds to use them both in powerful, creative ways.

We will create a psychologically safe environment to deepen self-understanding, build healthy bonds with each other, and transcend old limiting beliefs and patterns of action. Growth modalities include: Cognitive and behavioral skills – Depth psychology – Meditation – Group dynamics – Journaling

This is a non-sectarian event open to all who identify as male, to all faiths or none at all.
